Mark and his brother started Wasatch Recovery in 2011. He is very passionate about helping people in addiction. Mark brings experience from a variety of other fields. His primary focus was in commercial and residential real estate. Mark is an active owner and is committed to being involved in each person's treatment. When not working Mark can be found on a golf course or at the lake with his family.
Whitney Williams has been with Wasatch Recovery since 2011. Whitney graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health. Since then she pursued her passion in the Finance industry for the last 20+ years. Prior to her time with Wasatch Recovery she was the Director of Finance at LifeStar Financial Services before coming over to Wasatch Recovery at its inception. Whitney has been able to watch first hand Wasatch Recovery’s amazing program grow from an idea into an incredible rehabilitation center whose main focus is to help those in need. After almost 11 years in the industry, her greatest joy is to be a witness to the many lives Wasatch Recovery has changed and continues to each day. She and her husband Nate are parents to 4 adult children and enjoy traveling and spending time with their kids.
Todd Sylvester currently serves as a Belief System Counselor & Personal-Development Mental Fitness Coach. Todd refers to Wasatch Recovery Treatment Center as best University on the Planet. Todd spent his youth addicted to drugs and alcohol. Through his own recovery and newfound awareness, Todd learned that more powerful than any addiction was the power of the human spirit. Over the past 31 years, Todd has discovered and taught universal principles that have empowered thousands to conquer addiction, crush compulsive behaviors and change their limiting belief systems. Todd has been married to his sweetheart for 29 years. They have four children and live a happy, busy life together.
Corey graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's of Finance, and further completed graduate work in Substance Abuse Counseling. Corey went on to complete a Master's in Business Administration. Corey's heart is in helping others heal from the disease of addiction. Corey brings experience in everything from running groups and counseling to organizing and operating programs. Corey is married and has two children. Corey loves to golf, trail run and be outside.
Kirk oversees the daily operations at Wasatch Recovery. He manages the staff and leads by example. Kirk helped start the Wasatch Recovery Foundation Friday Night Sober Softball League. Kirk takes great pride in showing up to work everyday with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and contagious energy. Kirk started shortly after Wasatch Recovery opened and has grown with the company. Kirk is an active person and enjoys time with his family.
Tina Holman has been with Wasatch for 9 1/2 years. Tina oversees all experiential activities at Wasatch Recovery. Her passion is helping people who have become disconnected to themselves and others both mentally and physically. She has been practicing yoga for 15 years and teaching for 12 years. She has years of experience teaching corporate and studio yoga but prefers teaching inpatient treatment recovery yoga. Tina is happily married and the mother of 3 children. She loves life and lives it to the fullest.
Dr.Nelson is a Family Medicine Specialist and has over 24 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from At Still University Health Sciences/Kirksville College Of Osteopathic Medicine medical school in 1998. He has been with at Wasatch Recovery for over 10 years. When he's not working he is volunteering at the Hope Clinic. He has been married to his best friend for 30 year and have 8 children together. He enjoys spending time with his 3 wonderful grandchildren.
Dr. Wayment is a board-certified family medicine and addiction medicine physician with 10+ years of experience. She practices with a passion in delivering patient advocacy, anticipatory guidance, and providing the highest quality personalized medical care. Her career has been focused on developing strong relationships with her patients, their families and the entire healthcare team. Dr. Wayment completed her family medicine medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix Arizona in 2008. Dr. Wayment also holds board certifications by the A.B.I.M in family medicine, and she is a member of the American Society of Addiction medicine.
